Switching Backgrounds/Levels in Scratch November 10th, 2010 by Brian Leave a reply » For the STEM video game challenge, we’re using Scratch to make our games. One of the things you usually need in a video game is the ability to change what the background looks like. First, you’ll need to create the backgrounds in Scratch. Begin with a clean glass jar with a lid. Mix ½ cup of good quality unbleached flour and ½ cup warm water. It is better not to use “city water” that has been chlorinated, as the chemicals added to the water can inhibit growth of yeast. Cover the mixture with a clean cloth, like a tea towel. Wait for a day. The Scratch Wiki is made by and for Scratchers. Do you want to contribute? Learn more about joining as an editor! See discussions in the Community Portal.
